The man from China

Marcus’ birthday was celebrated in true ‘stralian style with a BBQ on Shelly Beach in Manly. It is a beautiful location with a nature reserve and no waves for people with recovering dislocated shoulders to worry about. Unfortunately I left the battery for the camera at home charging, so could not take any photos of the glorious day and of Marcus and Nancy’s wonderful steak sandwiches. I got Marcus a rash vest for his birthday as his old one was cut in two at the hospital!!

So after a great day out with them we went back to Mosman a little bit drunk! The next morning we woke up to another beautiful sunny day and decided that after we did a little bit of grocery shopping we would head down to Chinamans Beach which is at the bottom of our street –

It was a nice day and we even had a little dip in the sea to cool ourselves off. We are currently staying at Simone and Stu’s house here in Mosman and its absolutely beautiful! Here is a picture of us all having dinner at their house last week –
