The Resort
We arrived at the holiday resort at about 3am. From first glance it was, and being slightly generous, only 2 star - but still very competitive for Ayia Napa. The 60 year old man who greeted us was a little bit strange, the only thought running through my mind is "why aren't you asleep?" - nevermind, after very dodgily handing our passports over we were shown to our two separate rooms. Each room had a downstairs (no air conditioning, stinking toilet, stinking sink) and an upstairs (air conditioning, balcony with sea view). It really was first come first serve, after having to sleep with in the same room as yokie last year, I was lucky enough to get the room upstairs. In the end it was Andy and Myself upstairs in one flat, Becky and Racheal upstairs in the other, Ki and Yokie downstairs in one flat and Gin and Ian downstairs in the other (I hope you are picturing this). This is a picture from the balcony on a very early morning (about 05h00), you can just make out a floating body in the swimming pool - thats yokie, pretending to be dead. |
